I read your post about your first spell. Personally, I'm a naturalist, scientist, skeptic, etc. so I don't "believe" in that sort of thing, but still. It was a refreshing read. It had been a long time since I had read such a telling story of a unique worldview and perspective. (Especially since I grew up in a Christian home that... looked down on that sort of thing. >.<) Enjoy your ring and future spiritual adventures! :)

I came up with my first spell!

I’m actually pretty proud of myself guys, haha. It came so naturally and I was so happy! Ok, ok, so here’s what I did.

I had this gold ring that I made of gold wire lying around my room. I made it a little while back because I just felt like it and then never did anything with it. This is the ring:

So out of nowhere, I just got this urge to make it into a sort of….it’s hard to explain. What I did was make it into something that constantly emits grounding and light energies to surround and protect me kind of thing, haha. It was so funny when I first made it and put it on my necklace, for like two days my friends kept coming up to me and touching the ring all in awe; it was very amusing, especailly because they probobly didn’t know why they were drawn to it. What I did to do that though is this:

So, I got a transparent type material baggie, I used a gold one for obvious reasons, but it’s funny because I just found this bag a little while ago and thought I should keep it. ok, but, moving on!

So, I put the ring in the bag and put in some herbs and stones/crystals. Really you should come up with your own mix of herbs and stones/crystals/etc., because the ring eminates a specific energy for YOU! What I used was rosemary and sage for protective energies and some of the stones I put in were rose quartz for love energy and a crystal that amplifies energy. I put in one or two others that I just felt should be in the bag and topped it off with a few sprinkles of salt.

After I finished with that, I went outside and climbed up onto the roof of my house. I should have done it earlier in the day because when I did it, it was near sunset, and so the sun wasn’t very powerful. Anywho, so, what I did was call on the God and Goddess (I should have opened a proper circle but I had only thought of that later) and asked them to help me infuse the ring with loving, protecting, grounding and light energies. I held the baggie up to the sun, making sure to catch the light in the crystals and ring and held it up to the sun until I felt it was charged enough. I thanked the Gods for their time and help and let the energy calm a bit before getting down from the roof and going back inside. I wanted to leave my baggie out in the sun a little longer but was scared to leave it outside incase it rained or I forgot about it or something so i did this instead.

Just left it on my window sill, haha.

After a day or two I took out the ring, cleansed the stones and have yet to burn the herbs. But now I’m wearing it on my necklace!

I have to recharge it again but yeah! I was kind of proud of myself, haha.
